Hey, my name is Darius, the founder of Cydeavor. Here's a little story about how Cydeavor was created.
In high school my interest in technology went from being casual to intense. I remember writing out all of the parts of a computer by hand on paper, planning how I would build a computer from scratch, making sure all the parts were compatible with each other. I have never physically built a computer.
After graduating high school, I decided to pursue an IT Associate's degree from my local college, despite having no desire to attend college. Towards the end of my program, I started looking for a job. Every entry level IT position that I saw required a bachelor’s degree with three or more years of experience required. I lost all motivation to continue and failed academically for the first time in my life.
Fast forward to the end of 2022, I became curious about how website URLs worked and ended up discovering a major oversight on a site that allowed me to get a $1,000 product for $0—without hacking, just negligence by whoever built it. That moment sparked my interest in web development. I decided to learn how to build websites and earned a certification from Udacity in 2023 through a scholarship.
Because getting a tech position seemed impossible for me, I decided to create my own opportunity. That's why Cydeavor was started.
Through Cydeavor, I help small businesses establish and strengthen their online presence with user-friendly, professional websites. My goal is to simplify the process so entrepreneurs can focus on growing their businesses without the stress of web development.
Looking ahead, I plan to earn cybersecurity certifications and use my knowledge to educate others about online security and technology. Cydeavor isn’t just about websites—it’s about empowering businesses and individuals with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in the digital world.
